Inflammation, The Root Of All Disease

  • Acute inflammation: The response to sudden body damage, such as cutting your finger. To heal the cut, your body sends inflammatory cells to the injury. These cells start the healing process.

  • Chronic inflammation: Your body continues sending inflammatory cells even when there is no outside danger.

Our modern living has failed us. Many of our friends and family are suffering with chronic inflammation in forms of IBS, fertility issues, diabetes, arthritis, obesity, PCOS, fatty liver disease, dementia, schizophrenia, and more.

Our Bodies Need To Heal

The only way for our health and the health of those around us to change is to shift our perception around food. Food is typically used for fast energy, pleasure, avoidance of facing ourselves and our emotions etc. Moving away from using food in these ways and also shifting away from the pushed propaganda of plant based meals and snacking, we can begin healing our body, mind and spirit.

How to Begin

1. Start by understanding that the current food and healing system is broken; created to send you into a perpetual loop that creates profit for a system that ultimately does not care about your wellbeing.

Food > Sickness > Doctor > Pharmaceuticals/Procedures that do not solve the root issue > Repeat.

2. Begin taking full responsibility for your health. Many wait until they are truly sick to make a change and then most of the time just follow doctors orders, which ultimately does not solve the root issue. Begin looking at your ingredients when you go shopping. Get familiar with foods that are actually healthy and natural, not just "advertised as so". Stop buying processed "health" food and begin making your meals from scratch. Get to know your farmer. Understand that alternative plant based foods and meals are unhealthy and made to promote more illness. Eat animal based.

3. Slow down and breathe.

Most of our health issues are created through the quick choices we make every day. When we slow down and truly focus on how we are breathing, not only will we receive better health by increasing oxygen and lowering our cortisol levels (stress), but we also begin listening to our body and our mind. At that point, we begin to live more internationally.

Take many moments throughout the day and focus on your breath is it fast paced and short and shallow?

Take a deep breath in and out and slow it down. Listen to how you are feeling. And begin making all of your choices from this space.

The more we slow down and live with intention to improve the world around us, including our own health, the faster we will begin to witness the change we want to see in the world.

Be well,

Coach Haley
